I’ve decided that I’m not over-complicating my goals this year. Instead of a list of everything I want to accomplish, I’m only picking one thing per category. I’m doing this as a reflection of the book The One Thing. It’s a really great book, and I recommend picking it up. It speaks to the benefit of doing the one thing that is going to be most effective in moving you toward your goals, to the exclusion of anything else. My goals for the year:
- Personal: Lose 100 lbs
- Money: Pay off all non-mortgage, non-0% debt
- Business: Buy one property
I figure keeping these things simple, clearly articulated, and attainable will be a key to greater success this year than I’ve experienced in the past. We’ll all see together – I’ll update along the way as I meet a goal (or put it permanently out of reach).
Hope you meet all your goals in 2019! Look for my January update soon, and a year-over-year (2018 to 2019) update shortly thereafter as well!
